End Of The Year Book Tag

I stumbled upon this tag when I was on youtube watching a booktuber. I was excited because I like doing these book tags, and this would be my first ‘end of the year book tag’ I’ve done since starting my blog. Also, as you can see I’ve posted twice this week! I’m going to start being more active, and find more time to start posting more.

This tag originally came from Ariel Bissett on Youtube. Let’s get started!

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

There are two books I haven’t finished this year. Crimes by Moonlinght by Charlaine Harris and Flesh & Blood by Patricia Cornwell. I tried reading the books and they just didn’t interest me at all. I thought about trying again, but we’ll see.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

No, I don’t think so. I mainly just continue to read the books I have on my list. However, I have noticed that around this time, my books do involve snow. Maybe that’s it???

Is there a new release you’re still waiting on?

No, you know I have yet to start waiting on ‘new releases’. I’ve been meaning to because I would like to read new books, but I mainly find books that I find entertaining. Whether it was written this year, last year, or even years before.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I want to finish reading ‘Her Royal Highness’ by Rachel Hawkins, Love at the Northern Lights by Darcie Boleyn, and Some Call It Love by Sarah Peis. Hopefully when this is posted, I’m finished with at least two of these books!

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favorite book of the year?

The Haunting of Hill House for sure. I honestly didn’t think it would turn out the way it did, but it actually surprised me. I was way off with what was going to happen, and that’s what made it my favorite book I’ve read this year.

Have you already started making plans for 2021?

Yes, I’ve started my pile of books that I want to finish by the end of January, and I’m trying to plan ahead until about March or April. We’ll see how that goes though

That’s all from the tag, and I tag Melanie Reads, The Rantings of A Book Addict, and Bookish Luna

I did a book tag last Monday, and click here to see it! Also, you can click here to read my recent book review! Thanks for reading and I hope you’re having a great week!
