Books I Want To Read In 2021

There are plenty of books that’s coming out that I plan to read. I’ve cut down to my top five, and I wanted to share them with you guys, just incase you didn’t know about them. I also plan to get into more fantasy books because I feel as if I don’t read enough of them. Actually, I’m pretty sure that when it comes to different genres that I rarely read, it’s Fantasy.

Anyways… on to the list!

The Gilded Ones by Namina Forna

I found this book by searching for fantasy books to read. This book is said to have a Black Panther vibe to it, and I loved that movie, so why not read this book. It’s also by a black author and I’m excited to read more from this author. I also love books that have plot twists, and this seems like the type to go down that route.

Publishing Date: Feb 9th, 2021

Be Dazzled by Ryan La Sala

I’ve been looking for more books with LGBT+ representation, and this book is supposed to be loving and comical. I love reading romances and this is supposed to give the readers hope, and I can’t wait to read this. It’s actually out now, I believe, so I have to order.

Lore by Alexander Braken

Again, I wanted more fantasy books to read and the cover is what drew me in to this novel. I also love books that are about destiny and love. This book also was published January 5th, so I must get it!

The Echo Wife by Sarah Gailey

This book is said to be about betrayal and lies and I love a good suspenseful book. I expect this book to piss me off, and I’m ready to experience those moments. It’s also supposed to be a romance, so I think we’re going to witness some ‘infidelity’.

Publishing Date: Feb 16, 2021

Fat Chance, Charlie Vega by Crystal Maldonado

This novel is said to be a coming-of-age novel about love and ourselves. I think this book will be good for people of different cultures, and I can’t wait to read about it. The cover is also so beautiful, and I believe I’m going to love it.

Publishing Date: sometime in 2021

I’m going to pre-order ‘The Gilded Ones’ and I can’t wait for it to come out next month. I’ve never actually read a book that came out in the same year, and I’m excited but scared about that. I think it’s going to be so good though.

What are some books you want to read? Let me know in the comments.
