I bought two books recently and I want to share them with you guys. These are two books that I’m excited about reading in February, so be on the look out for a book review!
Tweet Cute by Emma Lode
I purchased this book simply because I thought the cover was pretty. I also had heard on booktok that it was funny and cute, and what’s not to like about that. It’s said to be a romantic comedy, and that’s something I can get behind. I’m excited to read this book, I hope it’s good to me.
The book is about a girl named Pepper and a guy named Jack. It’s a witty story told with different twists while the characters deal with pressuring from their family, while so getting older.
Everything, Everything by Nicola
I loved the movie and when I found out it was originally a book, I had to get it. I like reading books that become movies, so I can see what all the film got wrong and right. I actually plan on reading this novel first, I’ve been wanting to read it for a few weeks now, and I don’t want to wait. I hope it’s good!
This novel is about an 18-year-old girl named Madeline Whittier, Maddie, who has SCID. SCID is a Severe Combined Immunodeficiency, which means she’s allergic to multiple things. For this reason, she has to stay in her home, forever quarantined, with her mother. She has the same routine everyday that changes when she gets new neighbors.
I’m sure my list will probably grow, but for now I just have these two books that I can’t wait to read. I’m glad I’ve started reading a lot again, because I forgot how I love getting lost in a fictional world. These are two books that are going to touch my heart, I’m positive be about that!
What are some books you’re reading this month?
